Parent involvement and participation is a cornerstone of the Grimmway Academy model, and a key reason for our success. We maintain high expectations of our parents, with the understanding that they in return should expect the same level of commitment from the school’s teachers and staff.
A mutual commitment to your child’s education
At the start of each school year, families receive a home visit from their child’s teacher or a staff member, and the parents of new students are encouraged to sign a mutual promise with the school committing to actively participating in their child’s education. To facilitate and promote parental participation, Grimmway Academy also offers parent forums, cooking classes, and volunteer opportunities throughout the school year.
